In 2012, when I was young (!) and excited to be free to wander away from home for the first time in my life, I found myself along many roads of Turkey. That experience — mostly unwritten still — was partly captured in a blog of travel memories (written in Italian) and many photos from the road. More photos and memories have accumulated over the following years, as I continued to travel regularly to a country toward which I feel deep, contrasting emotions, almost as my own country.

Nel 2012, quando ero giovane e molto più nomade di adesso, mi sono ritrovato per molte strade della Turchia. Da quell’esperienza — che rimane ancora quasi interamente da raccontare — è nato italoturchese, un blog di racconti di viaggio, impressioni sulla Turchia e tante fotografie. Altre memorie e fotografie si sono aggiunte nel corso dei miei più recenti soggiorni in un paese che suscita in me emozioni forti e contrastanti quasi quanto il mio paese d’origine.
